Meet Miss Pebbles, a white and brown American Bulldog who is almost two years old. She weighs 49.6 lbs. She is a graceful, well-mannered, adorable gal trying to maintain her ladylike lifestyle while living in a shelter kennel. Pebbles has stolen the hearts of staff and volunteers, thanks to her calm, sweet, gentle disposition and affectionate ways with each handler she works with. She adores sitting next to or cuddling with her handler anywhere, anytime. Pebbles walks nicely on her leash, doesn't pull, and keeps an eye on her handler during the walk, checking in to say, "Am I doing everything right?". As for her manners, she appears to be house-trained, takes treats gently with a soft mouth, and rides nicely in the car, using the back seat as a daybed - what a clever gal! Pebbles knows some basic commands, and she is eager to learn more. She tells us that if we use treats to teach her, she will study hard and learn fast!

Pebbles can be a bit picky with her doggie friends, so she should be introduced slowly and carefully to other dogs one at a time.
