Pearl is a special senior lady with a remarkable story. She's an expert at efficiently disarming anything that dares to contain a squeaker!

Eleven years ago, in December, Pearl found her forever home through our shelter as an adorable puppy. Life took a turn, and earlier this year, she returned to us with severe skin issues and allergies.

But, here's where the tale takes a heartwarming twist! Our dedicated team has nursed Pearl back to health, and her transformation is truly inspiring. She's on a special diet and receives injections every other month to keep her itch-free. We can assure you that these treatments are making a world of difference for her.

Pearl developed these allergies later in life, around the age of ten. Her resilient spirit and the expert care of our vet have us hopeful that, with continued love and support, she might outgrow her need for special food or medication in the future.

Pearl has shown her playful side by engaging with one of the shelter's puppies, and it's a heartwarming sight. Like any spirited senior, she may playfully growl during their interactions, but it's all in good fun.
