Meet Peanut
Peanut here, get your Peanut! ?
Breed: Lab mix
Age: About 10-11 months old
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Kids: Yes
Good with Cats: Unsure
If you remember this sweet guy, he was hit by a car in Texas. After having surgery and getting the proper care he needed, Peanut made a full recovery!
He recently made his way north to Wisconsin where he has been settling into his foster home. After his arrival, it was very apparent that Peanut was frightened and withdrawn. He was moved into a foster home where he was able to decompress on his own time. After a few days, he started to come out of his shell and has been making huge progress.
Peanut is slow to adjust to new surroundings, but with the ability to feel safe and decompress, he opens up in time. This sweet guy is calm and well-mannered. Peanut does well with kids, in fact he’s quickest to warm up to them. But with any potential adopters, it’s important to remember that dogs do best with children who respect them and give them space when needed.
Peanut would do best in a home where his confidence is encouraged to grow … we know there is a silly boy inside him just waiting to make an appearance. This boy has been through so much in his short life and it’s time he finds a forever family that he can feel safe with.
