Meet Paul Beatles - Fostered in Omaha
Paul is one of the boys from The Beatles group of lab/australian shepherd mix puppies aka aussiedor.
He is the most observant and patient of the group. When his brothers get a little too rowdy, Paul is happy to just let it be and wait until things calm down. Paul loves to seek out his foster humans for cuddles and approval.
He picks up on new routines quickly and he's eager to please! Paul aka Paulie is very good at keeping his kennel clean overnight and he's the first puppy to go in when he hears "kennel up". He loves to play with crinkle toys and chew on bones. Tug of war is also becoming his specialty.
Paul enjoys running around the backyard with the resident dogs at his foster home. He is especially excited when all the kids in his foster home are around to play with him. He interacts with the kids ranging in age from 4-11 with lots of spunk and plenty of patience.
Paul is going to make an excellent companion! He responds very quickly to cues and loves a good routine. He is one smart pup! Paul is much braver now with his harness and leash and actually enjoys walks. He has never met a stranger on his after-school visits in the parking lot. Paul welcomes love from humans of all ages and his tail wags with so much enthusiasm, his entire body sways!
Just like his brother George, Paul is always getting praise for being so well behaved in those situations. People are in awe of his focus and calm demeanor. He also loves a good adventure aka accompanying his foster mom on errands. Paul takes in all the sights and sounds on the drive. He is very good about not jumping up. In fact, his foster mom wishes he could help teach her resident pups a thing or two!
Paul and his brothers came into rescue on 1/20/24. They are young pups. He has all his shots, is neutered and chipped. The vet predicts Paul will be 40-45 lb full grown.
