Parker - I'm in a foster home and ready for my forever home! Terrier Mix New Bedford, MA

Parker is a goofy boy who will greet you with a full-body wiggle. He will definitely show you his belly and invite you to play. Parker loves outdoor activities like playing fetch, tug, or going for long walks.

If you spend one-on-one time with Parker in his room, you’ll get yourself a face full of kisses. He’s not a shy boy when it comes to affection.

Parker knows a few basic commands, is food motivated, and is eager follow your direction to learn more. Parker is house-trained and well-behaved in a home setting.

Why Parker Is Looking For A Foster Home:
When we first got Parker, he was a happy-go-lucky boy! Not much fazed him. He is starting to get stressed by the kennel environment and displaying reactivity toward other dogs when passing by them to go out into the play yard. We’d like to see Parker back to his usual, happy self. For that to happen, he needs a foster home ASAP before his kennel stress gets worse. A foster home without other dogs or one where he can be separated from resident dogs at first would be ideal to give him time to decompress and get back to the happy Parker that we know.

He has successfully played with others, but right now Parker needs a quiet break from other canines. After proper decompression time, we can discuss introductions with resident dogs.
