Meet Papi
Papi is a handsome, six year-old Pitbull mix who is cherished by staff and volunteers at the shelter. This love-bug craves affection and revels in bellyrubs and bum scratches. He will happily lay across your lap to accept pets and snuggles. Papi is looking for a home without other pets; he prefers to be your one-and-only. Once he's out of the chaotic shelter environment, he walks nicely on-leash and enjoys exploring the world around him. He will react when passing other dogs, and would do best with a confident handler who can redirect him and help him behave appropriately. Papi knows the "sit" command and would love a family that will continue teaching him new things. He's a smart boy and is very treat-motivated.
