Oso Yorkshire Terrier & Shih Tzu Mix Silvana, WA

We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State. We are a local foster home based rescue.

Oso is an adorable little fella who thinks that everyone is his friend. He is friendly and outgoing and is ready for his next adventure. Oso has lived with other dogs and would probably enjoy another doggie playmate. We don't know his history with cats but he would probably be ok with a confident dog savvy cat. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of young children we are asking for a home without children under 8 years of age.

Oso loves going for walks and would love a family willing to take him on daily walkabouts through the neighborhood. He would enjoy a securely fenced yard where he can soak up the sunshine while breathing in the fresh air. He would also love a family that isn't gone for the long work day..this guy loves having his people around. Oso has great house manners but, because he will bark to alert his people, apartment life isn't for him.

Oso recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Oso is 8 years old and weighs 17 pounds. His adoption donation is $250.00.

Please note, we have approximately a 200 mile adoption radius from Stanwood WA for our Senior Dogs. Save-A-Mutt may limit this distance based on the long term needs of this pet. We don’t adopt out of state except to the Vancouver BC area. We don’t ship dogs. Once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA.
