Meet Orville
Orville was rescued by a good Samaritan in Arkansas, when he was founded at an abandoned home. He was underweight, covered in fleas and ticks, and very weak. Once we got him to our vet we found that he was anemic, the fleas had sucked all of his blood. He was also treated for hesrtworms.
He is now finally healed and healthy and living like a loved companion animal with 5 other dogs. He often visits another foster who also has a cat and does great around cats as well.
Not only did Orville suffer from the lack of medical care, he also shows signs of being physically abused. He is not going to be a good first dog for someone, and he will need someone who’s dog savvy, and will give him space to settle in his environment. Orville will need to wear a muzzle for vet visits, nail trims, and baths.
Orville is going to be great for someone who loves to take long walks or hikes. He walks perfectly on a leash. If he isn’t out for a walk, he will cuddle up and sleep the day away on the couch.
