Meet Oreo
Who can resist an Oreo?! He's just like the cookie: sweet and heavenly! This black and white baby boy was brought to us as a stray by the police and we're still getting to know this cutie. He's had good dog meets at the shelter and is starting to become comfortable with staff and volunteers. Come meet this scrumptious cutie today!

Per Volunteer 4/21: Oreo is an energetic guy who loves to play. He can get overstimulated so I recommend doing a long walk with him before run time. He does not pull but can zig zag if he is in an unfamiliar area. Today Oreo went to the cemetery, so on his next walk hopefully he can go there again to build his confidence in new places. Oreo is very handler focused and relies on his handler for comfort. When he was nervous in the new place he leaned heavily against me. However do not pet him too vigorously as he is still easily overstimulated. I just rested my hands on him to offer comfort and he liked that a lot.
