Meet Oreo! She is a lovely 4-year-old Schipperke/Papillon mix, weighing in at 18 pounds. She gets along with other dogs and is content with entertaining herself but really loves to snuggle with her humans.

Oreo came into rescue quite obese and with virtually no training or boundaries but her foster family has worked very hard to get her where she is today. She has peeled off excess weight, learned to walk on a leash, and is doing really well with potty training. She does well with other dogs in her foster home and will do well with new adoptive siblings with proper introduction and match. She would also be perfectly content as an only pup.

Oreo's is not well suited for apartment dwelling but would thrive in a home with a yard and strong leadership. Her breed compels a high prey drive and squirrels are her weakness but does well when redirected. Oreo lived most of her life with senior parents so would be best suited for a home where children are 12 years or older.
