Is your dog good with other dogs: Yes he’s excellent with our big dog & small dog. Loves to play!!

Is your dog good with cats: yes. He’s curious about the cat but very gentle with her. She has her “safe space” in the basement and he whines at the gate when she comes up because he wants to give her all the kisses.

Is your dog good with kids: Yes, he loves kids.

Current size: Medium 42lbs

Estimated adult size: He is an adult

Is your foster dog neutered: Yes

Is your foster dog vaccinated: Yes, has core vaccines.

Is your dog house trained: Getting there, he’s had a FEW accidents.
We take him out every couple of hours. He scratches/ whines at the door when he has to go out.

Is your dog crate-trained: Yes. Will cry a bit in the night, but will settle.

Does your dog have any special needs/medical conditions: No

Does your dog have any or display any aggression (toys, food, people, leash reactivity): He will growl if the dogs approach him while he’s eating, but that’s it.

Is your dog playful: Yes, very playful. But also likes to snuggle and sleep.

Does your dog like to snuggle: Yes he likes to be the little spoon.

Does your dog know basic commands: Sit, lie down, and he knows his name to come.

Does your dog like to go on walks: yes, but just around the property for now. He’s excellent on a leash though.

Does your dog have any unique traits you have noticed, whether in personality or physically: He is all black minus a little TINY white on his chest and toes. & he has the prettiest blue eyes.

In a short paragraph please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog: OJ is an excellent dog! He has adapted very well since coming to stay with us. He plays well with our dogs ( both big and small ) and loves when our cat comes up because that means he gets to give her all the kisses. OJ is also wonderful with our 7-year-old son as he loves to get in his bed and cuddle with him in the evenings. He is a sweet, gentle, loving dog who aims to please. He LOVES to be outside & he would certainly benefit from an active family. He would make an excellent outdoor adventure buddy.
