Ollie Havanese Mix Hoisington, KS

Ollie has been with us for quite some time. Ollie came to us from another shelter and was in terrible condition upon arrival. Ollie is completely blind and will take time to adjust in a new home. He does great with other dogs, and the other dogs in the foster home helped him learn how to get around the house. He is crate trained and potty trained, however in a new environment it will take him a while to adjust and get to a new routine because he is blind.

Ollie loves hanging out on the couch and is always under foot with the foster. he is very sweet and loving, just needs time to adjust in a new situation. Since he is completely blind it will take a bit longer. Ollie also MUST be sedated to be groomed, which will have to be done at a vet clinic. Ollie had never been groomed before in his life until he came to us, his nails were overgrown and curling into his pads, he had a pelted coat and was a hot mess. We believe he was never introduced to grooming at a young age, and therefore that's why he does not like it.
