Meet Ollie

If you are interested in any of the dogs available at New Leash Rescue, you can reach out to the foster listed below for more information and then complete an adoption application which can be found at https://www.newleashrescue.org/adopt/policy. Please email the completed application to newleashrescue2018@gmail.com

Ollie has an estimated birthday of 10/1/21. He came to us from Mexico where he was a stray. He's adapting to the Minnesota winter.

He is a good boy and likes toys and other dogs. He has not been around cats. He came with pad training but is working on house training but again, it's an adjustment with the temps. He's doing well on his crate training so far.

He is higher than average puppy activity and needs a family who is looking for a bouncy boy with higher exercise and activity requirements.

He can climb and get over baby gates and pens, so he's quite the agile, clever boy.
He will need a family willing to keep going on his training including obedience.

Due to his terrier breed, he will not be adopted to any apartments or rentals. Applications are reviewed in the order received looking for the best fit home. Vet references are checked with any prior or current pets. Foster home has the final decision on placement.

Adoption fee is $400 + tax (no checks)

Email adopt@newleashrescue.org for more information.

Please inquire if Ollie will be attending an upcoming adoption event at the Woodbury PetSmart on Saturdays from 11-2pm.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
