Hi I’m Oliver! Although I’m pure black, would you believe that DNA says I’m over 50% golden retriever?

I’m a super sweet BIG puppy but my foster mom says I’m a big teddy bear. I never play bite. I sleep in bed all night and sleep quietly all night. Occasionally, I get up in the middle of the night to go outside but I am still a puppy after all. I occasionally have an accident in the house but am overall very good about going outside. I also don’t chew things in the house that I shouldn’t as long as I have other toys and treats to chew on.

The other day my mom left me out in the house for about 4 hours and I did not get into anything or chew anything. I think I’m pretty good for a 5 month old pup!

Did I tell you my foster house has a lot of other dogs? Recently I even got 3 new baby puppies to play with! I love all of the dogs but sometimes don’t realize I’m so big. My foster mom has been surprised by how sweet I’ve been with the babies.

I do jump up when I get really excited (mostly for food) but otherwise am good at not doing this. I definitely need someone who will commit to continue working on training.

I have not met cats. I have had kids pet me and have done really well and been extremely sweet with them.

My foster mom wants me to find a family that won’t mind a big dog (a big teddy bear). A family that can commit to training me more. And a family that will love me. She thinks I’d be a perfect family dog!

Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). . It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.

We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process.
