ODIN American Bulldog & Pit Bull Terrier Mix Pittsburg, CA

ODIN is approx 2-3 yrs old 70 lbs American Bulldog / Pitbull mix who came from the Martinez Shelter

ODIN was kennel stressed however since being rescued he has decompressed extremely well.

This is what we know:
He is super sweet and friendly
He is very good with other dogs
He can socialize with other dogs in a play group
He is house broken but might have an accident if not let outside regularly
He is very easy to walk on a leash
He is not destructive
He is good with kids however he is very playful so older kids are preferred
He sits and knows basic commands
He is good in the car~
He does have some separation anxiety

His foster dad has added some notes:
- He’s VERY smart and trainable, picks things up very quickly but can be a little stubborn at moments

- Can be high energy but settles down with exercise or a good walk

- He loves being outside

- Non destructive. Doesn’t even try to get things off the counter, doesn’t even care about shoes

- Can play rough if he gets really excited but I’ve never seen him jump on a stranger

- He would do best if he finds a home with other dog(s) or at least has a chance to meet new dogs

- A household with at least one person who works from home, or is just home a lot would be best

- Heavy prey drive, so would avoid a household with small animals like birds, rabbits, gerbils, or possibly cats
