Meet Odie
M - 1 year - Pit Bull Mix -
Odie is a big dopey boy who loves to play with his favorite cat-shaped stuffy! He's a very happy boy with lots of energy. He is going to need some obedience training in order to reduce his tendency to jump up on you and chomp on his leash. Because of this, he is not suitable for households with young kids or the elderly. But he likely will take well to training, and that would be beneficial to help with some of his anxiety and boredom.
He will need some more socialization with other dogs, but he has been in playgroups with other dogs here at the shelter and done well. But when he's overstimulated by other dogs and lots of people, he needs some quiet time to recharge.

To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. All adoptions are $25 and our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to head home with you.
