What's up everyone! I am Nyx and ya'll better sit down and hold on because I am a bundle of energy. I was picked up as a stray in Minneapolis and made my way to a foster home in the country. I am a 4 year old pittie but don't be fooled by my age I can out work anyone young and old, just try me. My foster dad calls me a little spitfire. I think it's because I am one of the most driven dogs he has met. I am currently staying with 3 other dogs and a little human and we have been getting along great. I never got much direction before coming here so we are working hard on my manners and I have learned a ton in the last couple weeks. I recently finished a 4 week board and train program and did wonderful!! I will need a family that will continue to work with me on everything I have learned so that I can be the best me possible. I am e-collar trained and do so well with that communication tool that we would want my forever family to continue with that as well. I do guard my food a bit in the kennel but have worked hard on getting better with that but still something we want my forever family to know so they make sure to feed me separate from other dogs and I should go in my kennel while the humans eat. My ideal family would be an active one with a good routine and someone to continue teaching me the rules. I am in no way mean, just get a little rambunctious at times. I love to play fetch, tug, anything that requires speed and movement. Despite being a spitfire I am awesome at staying in my crate. I go in and don't make a peep until you come to get me.
