Nyx Cocker Spaniel & Cattle Dog Mix Louisville, KY

Nyx is the Greek goddess of night, but also known for being feared by Zeus (the king of gods himself ?). There’s no reason to fear this Nyx, but much like her namesake, she is a beautiful and powerful little pup! ?

Nyx takes being named after a goddess very seriously. She knows her worth and is very happy to tell you what she wants. She can be vocal about her requests, so she is likely not the best fit for an apartment.

She is a puppy full of energy but enjoys proximity when tired. Sometimes even cuddling. But she always wants to be in the same room with her people.

Nyx has excelled at crate training and sleeping through the night. She is mostly potty trained and she rings the bell at the back door to go out.

We are still working on her puppy mouthiness (particularly when overly excited) but her foster parents report this has been improving and socialization has helped a lot! She will need someone to continue getting her out and about and working with her.

She would benefit from an older dog sibling to play with and continue to learn boundaries or a confident owner to help her be the best pup she can be!

Nyx has done well with respectful kids at events, enjoys other dogs of all sizes (she thinks she is much bigger than she is ?), and has been passively around cats and been fine. We believe mom was a cocker spaniel and dad was a rottie mixed with something so our only guess on size is probably medium.
