Meet Nutmeg:: 1 year old, 42 pounds, Spayed Female Chocolate Labrador Retriever.

Nutmeg is a gorgeous one year old Chocolate Labrador Retriever who is searching for her forever home. Sweet Nutmeg was rescued after being banished to the backyard on a chain by her previous owners for having an accident in her crate. Despite their claims of her having accidents, Nutmeg has proven to be fully potty trained in her foster home and she is so happy to be inside in a warm loving home!

Nutmeg know some basic commands and loves to play with her foster's other dogs. She is great with children, and while she can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly to everyone she meets.

Along with a thoroughly evaluated application, a fenced in yard is required to adopt Nutmeg.

$95 Adoption Fee. Nutmeg is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm and flea prevention, dewormed, and microchipped.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Cincinnati for adult dogs.

Once your application is submitted, you will be redirected to a confirmation page on our website. This is your confirmation that we received your application. Please read the page thoroughly so you will know what to expect next in our adoption process.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
