I'm Stormin' Norman, and have been told I am a diamond in the rough!

I crave love, am eager to please you, highly food motivated, smart (if I do say so myself), catch on quickly, and stay focused and attentive to the person I know and trust. Every ounce of me wiggles with anticipation of greeting you with my affections, a few tender kisses, and huge smile. I occasionally need a reminder to calm down a bit, restrain my occasional excited leaps, and limit my adoration to a loving gaze.

I am a well-behaved love bug in the home. I enjoy companionship and choose to be a lap dog if you let me. I prefer sleeping with puffy blankets and in a soft dog bed in my special person's room. I love bike rides, car rides, trips to the ocean or lake, and any adventures. I go bananas for squeaky balls and toys, and enjoy a good game of fetch with sticks or balls. Warming by the fire contentedly is a special luxury. It's better for my digestion if I am fed with a slow feeder as I have a tendency to gobble my food.

My inclination towards separation anxiety can be relieved if I am left with a food puzzle, as I'm not a fan of being left alone. I'm a bit wary of puddles, and loud noises. I am extremely house broken. I love walks, and am working on my dog reactivity, and desire to chase deer and squirrels. I try my best to be a good boy, catch on quickly, and be everything you want me to be.

The family whose home I shared last said I'm worth my weight in gold, but it would be best for me to have someone who has time, love, and space for me to expend my energy. I will be worth your investment of effort and time, I promise!

I have been waiting quite a long time for my special person to choose me. Don't tell anyone, but I've heard rumors circulating that I am the favorite of several of the volunteers. I know I am deserving, and eager to become part of your family. I promise to love you back just as much, if not more, than you'll soon love me. Are you the one I've been hoping will take me home??


Adoption fee includes: Spay/neuter, initial vaccines, a microchip, rabies vaccine when appropriate, and one free veterinary visit with a local participating clinic.
