Nicholas Chihuahua Mix Lacona, NY

12/31/22: Nicholas was saved on Christmas Eve last year where he was on hold at B & R Bunkhouse after being found as a stray in Syracuse. This little Chihuahua mix boy is ~3 years old and 10 # and is full of love (and a little spice as well). He is an active boy that gets along with the other dogs in the home but takes a while to warm up to new humans and can be a bit possessive once he claims his human. He will likely need a few weeks to decompress once in a new home and a patient family that won't try to force their love too soon. Once he bonds with someone, he will be forever your faithful companion and protector. Nicky is more drawn to women then men and can be reactive if you tey to force him into doing something he doesn't want to do so we are looking for a home with little foot traffic and children over 12 years old. We think their is a die hard Chihuahua loving family out there for him somewhere so we wanted to give him a chance at a home of his own. His foster has been working with his socialization for several months now and he will need to continue with a patient, loving home.
