Meet Nellie
Hi! My name is Nellie and I am a 1 yr old border collie x Aussie mix. I was picked up as a stray and taken to a local shelter. The shelter was loud and chaotic and it made me very nervous. Luckily Herding Haven "sprung" me and I am now in a foster home where I am learning that the world is not such a scary place. I am a little shy and nervous around people I don't know; but I warm up with patience, kindness (and yummy treats). Once I trust you I will be your most faithful and loyal friend (and the best snuggle bug you ever had). I love playing with other dogs; a home with another young dog to help show me the ropes is a must. I am not a fan of cats, so my furever home must be feline free. Kids make me nervous, so I need a home without small/young children (dog savvy teens/young adults over 16 yr would be ok). I am crate-trained, house-broken and learning not to pull on the leash.
