Pleased to meet you!

My name is Mozart and I’d love to tell you a little bit about myself.

I was rescued from a gas chamber shelter in Utah. My foster Moms didn’t know anything about where I came from or how I ended up there, but they couldn’t resist my big beautiful eyes and gentle spirit.

I must have had a bit of a rough start to life because I have some anxiety and can be really reactive with other dogs, especially when they come on too strong.

The good news is my foster moms got me on medication to help me relax and show off my personality.

My exact age is unknown, but vets says I’m probably 7 or 8. You wouldn’t know it, though, because I love going on long walks and smelling all the new places and things. I happen to have a great nose and might even have been used for tracking.

I’d really be happiest as an only dog (a slow introduction would be required) and cats are just too interesting for me to resist, so absolutely no kitties for me.

With that said, my foster moms have worked with me on my issues and I am getting better every day. If I can find the right person and home to help me feel loved and be patient with me, I just know I could be your best bud.

I’m house trained and will let you know when I need to go out. I sleep in my crate with no problems. I’m not big on fetch, but love a good chew toy or lively game of tug-o-war.

I’m also happy to just chill with you close by so I can lean on you or plop my big head in your lap.

I can sit to have my leash put on and can shake too!! I’m sure I can learn even more.

My foster moms have a safe place for me and are committed to helping me find the right forever home where I can become a permanent member of the family.
