This special little girl is Molly. She was rescued from a southern New Jersey shelter after she was found as a stray. She was completely emaciated and need a lot of TLC and vet care. She needed to gain at least 6-8lbs and had to have 99% of her teeth extracted. At only about four years old that is almost unheard of. The vet that did her extractions said it was the worst case of dental disease she had ever seen. She also was diagnosed with Lymes disease but was treated with antibiotics. She will need bloodwork and urine testing every six months just to make sure she stays on track. She also seems to have seasonal allergies so she might need allergy medication from time to time. Now that she is in a foster home she has put on weight and her fur is growing in. Molly likes other low key dogs and would do great with one or by herself. She has a lot of pep in her step and loves walks and yard time. She is slowly learning how to play with toys and throughly enjoys a comfy dog bed with a nice fluffy blanket.
