Rayven was found running out of the woods in Kentucky, followed by a number of her puppies from multiple litters, all of whom were saved and brought to SCCR to find safe, loving forever homes. This little lady has spent too much time in her young life being a momma bear, braving the wilderness to keep her pups safe; now she is looking for a home where she can be free of mom duties to enjoy the simple pleasures of dog life that she deserves.

Rayven is the sweetest, most loving and perfectly playful 2-year-old girl. She loves every single person she meets and wiggles her whole body to let you know just how excited she is to see you…every time you enter the room. She absolutely loves other dogs and running outside. Due to her vocal nature, we think a single-family home with a fenced-in yard would make her very happy, as she loves to be outside but it's not a deal breaker. She is house trained and does well in the crate when left alone. She is the perfect mix of cuddly and playful! She takes redirection cues well too.

In her foster home, Rayven loves being her silly self – she will playfully throw her toys around, making it easy to play a game of fetch. She sleeps like a dream at night cuddled up with her foster sisters; she would be really happy with fur siblings that like to play! Rayven has not been around children, but based on her sweet nature, we think she would love some little humans of her own!

Rayven Kay is easy going and well-mannered, letting you wipe her dirty paws, trim her nails, and wipe her ears. She does well in the car and enjoys running errands with her foster mom. This sweetheart deserves all the good things in life after a rough start on her own. If you have a spot in your family to offer, Rayven is ready to give you all of her love in return.
