Meet Minnie

IN VERMONT

Meet Minnie! https://youtu.be/AJl1pE9u2rc

Minnie is 3 years old, female (approx. DOB 1-18-21), 45 lbs., vetted, is or will be spayed, and microchipped.

We found Minnie at a shelter in SC on her last day. We found out her and Mickey (adopted) were found in downtown Greenville together; they were going to be dumped onto a rural property in SC if not taken in by the shelter. Minnie has been a mama dog; we LOVE our mama dogs! She was very scared at the shelter and seemed to LOVE the company of other dogs, may be okay with cats (all cat and dog relationships are different), lives with kids successfully, is a quieter girl, crate trained, loves treats and walks well on a leash. We'd say Minnie is an ole soul. Minnie was in a 2-week sick hold foster prior to coming back to the shelter; they said she just wanted to be with their other dogs constantly. In her new foster in SC Minnie has done so well being brave and has come out of her shell in the best way possible; still sweet and shy but not scared of the world! Stay tuned for more information as Minnie is a new rescue!

Disclosure:

Breed labels are often incorrect: we rarely know the genetic lineage of the dogs we rescue. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog's DNA determines appearance!

Passion 4 Paws does not practice the use of labels pertaining to compatibility with others or dog breed. Labels such as "dog friendly" and "child friendly" should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.
