Hello! My name is Minnie and I am a playful, fun loving, social, affectionate young lady! I love to meet new dogs but I can be a bit much so a proper introduction is important for me. While I do love to run and play, I can also be calm and relaxed as I love a soft spot to lay down and take a snooze. I would love to be your cuddle bug! The shelter environment is very loud and stressful and because I am such a social butterfly I can make a messy kennel and be loud to try to get your attention but please don't let that sway you! I have so much potential. I have been great with children as well. I may be heartworm positive but Sumter County Animal Services will take care of all my treatment for free once I am fostered and out of the shelter. Then once my treatment is done, I will be ready to be adopted!

This animal is heartworm positive. Heartworm disease is spread via a mosquito bite between animals, BUT animals on heartworm prevention are not contagious. This animal has started the pre-treatment for heartworm disease and will need to be fostered until the completion of treatment.
