**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. This is Milo. He is about one years old and around 12 pounds. He LOVES being with his people. He was pulled from a severely overcrowded shelter by his wonderful foster mom who says he was instantly friendly with her female dogs. He loves to do spins of excitement and often rolls on his back to demand belly rubs. Milo prefers the company of females and is especially attached to his teenage human foster sister. He also likes to play with his foster pup sis, a Jack Russell terrier. Milo potties outside well but we are working on doing it all the time. Basic commands are also a work in progress however he does come when called. We are presently not holding our regular Saturday adoption clinics due to the Covid-19 virus. We are operating on a limited basis until further notice, but we are still adopting dogs out. We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $350. Dogs over 2 years old are $250. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
