Meet Miles!

An adorable big puppy with a Texas sized heart that is filled with love and silliness! Watching him frolic about is like witnessing a cartoon character come to life!

Miles is quite the entertaining character with his endearingly clueless personality. His silly antics and pure innocence provide everyone with endless chuckles. He may not always have the ability to understand complex tasks, but his loving nature and playful spirit makes up for what he lacks in intelligence. That just means everyday will be a joyous adventure that helps you appreciate the simple pleasures in life!

This guy loves to romp around with other furry friends and needs another playful canine companion to keep him entertained. Miles is usually blissfully unaware of his enormous size when amongst smaller canine playmates. As much as he wants to befriend every canine he sees, some don't appreciate that he can be over enthusiastic with his pawing, play nibbles, and clumsy tackles. It's all fun and games until he is corrected, then he mopes around wondering what he did wrong.

He may be large and hilariously uncoordinated with those lanky legs, but he still finds great pleasure in stalking his canine friends during play. It's comical to watch such a clumsy pup confidently 'sneak' up on other dogs and playfully pounce on them to initiate play.

He thinks squeaking and tossing around toys are the next best thing to playing with one of his many canine friends. It doesn't matter what toy is offered, they all fill him with happiness and pure bliss. His eyes sparkle with joy, tail wags with great excitement, and he bounces about with a smile from one floppy ear to the other. Once that magical treasure is obtained, he prances it around like a kid on Christmas morning!

This guy is a water fanatic and loves any type of aquatic adventure! No water source is too boring and he eagerly seeks opportunities to immerse himself into the refreshing embrace of water. For him, it's always an unforgettable experience to splash in a kiddie pool, chomp water from the hose, dunk his face into his water bowl, or take a dip at the lake.

Although a goofy puppy with the attention span of a squirrel, he has learned good leash manners and knows the commands sit and down. He's also highly treat motivated, which makes for easier training! Unfortunately, the shelter environment has too many distractions and is not the ideal place for him to continue learning more good behaviors.

Sadly, Miles has lived his entire life in a shelter. Despite only knowing the shelter walls, he remains a happy go lucky guy and enjoys experiencing all that the world has to offer! He will need to learn how to be a good boy in a home, but he is more than worth someone committing a little time and patience to help him learn to be the bestest boy!

We have watched Miles grow for the past four months and are sadden that he isn't growing and learning with a family of his own. He was a 4 month old baby weighing 24 pounds when he arrived to our facility. Now, he is a whopping 70 pounds! That's simply too much growth to happen in a shelter and we are crossing our paws that he gets a loving home and family before he becomes an adult!
