Mikey is an 8 month old, 23 pound Pit Bull Terrier mix pup. He'll be a perfect medium size when fully grown. Mikey is your typical playful pup! He does some jump-ups that we are working to control. He's doing great on his leash walking. Mikey plays great with other dogs.

Any pet who has been at the shelter more than 30 days (check INTAKE DATE on card) OR weighs 40 pounds or more has a waived adoption fee. OKC Animal Welfare is open for adoptions from 12-5:00 Tuesday through Saturday.
The dog/cat adoption fee, which is normally $60 unless we are having a special, includes spay or neuter, MICROCHIP, age-appropriate shots and health check. Special Adoption Fees: In the following cases, the adoption fee is $30-if more than one pet is adopted and the adoption fee of one or both is $60, if the pet is 4 years of age or older and they don't meet the descriptions in the 1st sentence, and if the pet has been at the shelter more than 2 weeks.
