Hi world, I'm Mighty Joe Young but my fosters call me Sir Joseph or JoJo for short.
I'm a dapper 12 year old dachshund mix and I unfortunately found my way into foster after my owner passed away but I don't let that keep me down. I'm a spry senior gentleman with lots of life left to share with my new forever home! I weigh 13 lbs, am neutered and up to date on shots. I love walks in the park and do well on leash. I do great with other dogs and people but I get excited and like to bark at the cat. I loooove playing with squeaky toys and will bring them to you to play fetch. If you're looking for a pint sized companion who's house trained with good manners and medium to low energy then I'm your guy! I love to beg for snacks and keep my people company around the house, whether it's doing chores or napping on the couch together. I can't wait to meet you! **Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment with an approved application. One of ARNO's volunteer adoption counselors will be in contact with you to notify you of your approval status as well as arrange an appointment.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs:

Puppies under 6 months - $300
Adult dogs (6 months - 7 years) - $250
Seniors (8 years and older) - $200

Cats:

Adults (1 year and older) - 1 for $125 / 2 for $200
Kittens (under 1 year) - 1 for $175 / 2 for $250

For all animals that have not been spayed or neutered a $100 deposit will be required in addition to the adoption fee. The deposit is refundable upon completion of the spay / neuter surgery.
