Hi! My name is Midge! I am a 6 year old, 34 lbs dachshund mix. I'm on the hunt for my forever home!

My favorite things to do are to go exploring in the backyard, go on walks, or just act like a cat and lounge on the top of my foster mom's couches. I love belly rubs, squeaky toys, my purple blanket, and burrowing under the covers to sleep with you at night.

Things that I dislike are windshield wipers going in the car, and reflective lights from things like the sun hitting your phone. One super quirky thing about me that the new owner should know is if I am out walking and a loud truck is coming or a truck with a trailer is coming, I will absolutely try to run towards it. What can I say? We all have our quirks.

I am potty trained and I walk fairly well on a leash. I am very food motivated, but when it comes to eating, I'm a grazer. I would be best as an only dog. My foster mom tells me I especially can't live with cats because I have a high prey drive. I try to tell her they are just so fun to chase! I think kids are pretty cool and make great friends.
