Meet Michonne

Her eyes will absolutely mesmerize you …into giving her infinite belly rubs!!! Oh, this girl loves a belly rub! Michonne is just over a year old. She’s possibly an Australian shepherd/Catahoula mix. She was left at one of our partner shelters by a law enforcement officer with several other dogs. Michonne was adopted out from that shelter, but returned because she’s an active girl, and like most working breeds, will get into mischief when she’s bored. She has an obvious limp when she’s running around, and X-rays showed a toe that had been broken and had not healed properly. Rest and anti-inflammatory medication are really the only course of treatment at this point.
