Michael Norwich Terrier & Cairn Terrier Mix Oakland, NJ

Michael is one of the 40+ animals recently rescued from living in a pick up truck in a hoarding situation. He was the most terrified of the dogs we took in and at first we thought he was injured and couldn't walk, but he was just so terrified. He does seem to have some mild neurological issues and wobbles and crouches a bit when he walks, but x-rays didn't show any orthopedic issues and he may have been born with a very mild cerebellar hypoplasia type issue. He's not in any pain and it doesn't keep him from scurrying around with his doggie friends when he's happy. We think he's about 4 years old, under 20 lbs and some kind of scruffy terrier mix. He will need some patience as he adjusts to life in a real home for the first time and will need work on housebreaking and being introduced to new people in a positive way. He is selective about his dog friends but very attached to his "brother" Sherwin and we are looking to find them a home together.
