Meet Merlin!

Merlin is a handsome, stocky 4-year-old harlequin Great Dane, a true gentleman with a heart of gold. This handsome harl is eager to find his forever home where he can shower his loyalty upon his cherished human.

In his foster care, Merlin lives harmoniously with several other Danes, showcasing his amicable nature. His past experiences with small dogs and a cat prove that he's not just a giant in size but also in heart, adapting well to furry companions of all sizes.

Merlin may initially appear a bit timid when meeting new people, but a handful of treats can work wonders in breaking the ice. Once he warms up, his affectionate side shines through, and you'll have a loyal companion who loves nothing more than to cuddle.

While Merlin's gait and back legs may be a touch wobbly at times, his resilience is truly admirable. After thorough consultations with vets, it's been determined that Merlin has some spinal disc compression, but it's not severe enough to warrant surgery. This remarkable Dane moves gracefully, without any signs of pain, and may only require medication for inflammation as he ages. For now, he's an active, playful boy with a penchant for toys and a love for a good snuggle on the couch.

Merlin's leash-walking skills are on point, showcasing his well-mannered demeanor. Although he may not be a fan of getting in and out of vehicles, once inside, he transforms into a great car rider—ready for any adventure that comes his way.

This easygoing fellow is crate-trained, but we believe he's low-key enough to handle free-roaming without causing havoc. Merlin is not just a delightful companion; he's a well-behaved, gentle soul
