Mega Pint **SPONSORED ADOPTION** Pit Bull Terrier Mix Spotsylvania, VA

Mega is around 10-12 years old, 68lb, pit mixed breed dog that came to ACCT Philly, a high kill shelter, as a surrender when his owner was no longer able to care for him. He is very laid back, good with dogs, seems to ignore cats so far, good with respectful kids OVER 12 years of age (can snap when woken up or resting), He has been doing better with car rides, loves treats takes then gently - he even gives paw and knows how to sit. I dont think we have ever met a dog as easy to walk as him! Has some separation anxiety, but who wouldn't after all he's been through?! He also needs medication like Trazadone during a thunder storm, and long car rides. He doesn't like leaving the comforts of his home too often, though now he can go places and strut his high step with more confidence! He will detest with barking if he sees you outside and cant get to you. We believe he is housetrained, and he enjoys playtime outside as well as just relaxing in the yard.
Mega came with fairly significant skin issues that have been resolving with treatment as we work on it.
He has hip issues due to his age. Fish oil has been seeming to help all the way around!
This sweet pup needs appropriate senior care to thrive in his golden years! Walks well on the leash. He is older but spunky. He loves attention when he wants it. He gives cuddles!

We are a small based foster group who help dogs currently in VA, NC (more states soon) on death row find a second chance. Right now we will be running off of donations and fosters homes. So please be patient with us.

You may apply to adopt if you are in a state that surrounds VA state lines!

Adoption Contracts, and vet papers will be given at time of adoption. All dogs will be UTD on shots and spayed/neutered before going to their furever family!

All adoption fees are considered donations! We do not do refunds on donations.
