Meet Maya

Miss Maya is ready for adoption! This sweet girl is 8 years young. She has been through a lot in the last few months. Maya found herself in the shelter as her one and only family had an emergency and could no longer care for her. She was so lost and scared. After about 5 days we were able to get her pulled out. She settled into a nice quiet foster home where she found her new buddies.

Maya went to the vet to have a dental and ended up having 17 teeth removed. On top of that, they found a spot on her leg that was removed and sent in for testing. It turned out to be low grade skin cancer. The excellent news is the tests showed they got it all (the edges were clear).

Sweet Maya LOVES to go for walks. She has not had potty accidents in her foster home, and loves her foster parents. She loves playing with her foster siblings, but she isn’t always happy if they want to share a dog bed.
