Maya Shepherd Mix Johnston, IA

Maya is a super sweet 4 year old Shepherd mix that came to us back in June. She was supposed to come pregnant, but surprised everyone and delivered her puppies on the way to her new foster home. Her pups are grown and she's ready to find a home!

Maya has been to a 10 day board and train at Ankeny Bark Avenue where she did a great job. She has gained so much confidence. Maya is kennel trained, house trained, and gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. She's happy to relax in the company of her doggie friends, loving the chill life. Maya loves to lounge inside and out, play fetch, and play with her toys. She is spayed, microchipped and ready to find her own forever home. Maya is a good girl that loves to be with her people but it content to relax on her own too. Do you have room in your heart to give this girl a family of her own?

Maya's adoption fee is $250.00. Senior dogs, at our discretion, are adopted out at $150 per dog because we know they will have less time with your family and may eventually have more needs as they get older. But we feel these dogs deserve to live out the rest of their lives as part of a loving family.
