Mother May I? Yes you MAY!
May is a fantastic girl! She hails from a breeder in Alabama. Her breeder no longer wanted her for whatever reason and decided to just stop feeding her. (Same story as soon to be adoptable Mercy). A local rescuer heard about May & Mercy and intervened, and contacted Pointer Rescue for help. A plan was made for both girls, and they traveled to FL.
Both May & Mercy tested positive for heartworms. They are both undergoing treatment and will be available in the Fall for adoption. May had a non-cancerous growth on her back removed when she was spayed in August. Now that we have told you about her past, it is time for the fun part - her personality!
May is a rootin' tootin' wiggle butt. She is always swaying her back end in happiness to see people. She is affectionate, fearless and adorable. She is a good passenger and very engaged with the sights thru the window. She has met cats without issue and she is very dog friendly.
May is crate trained, and loves to go for walks. She is good on a leash too! Mays ideal weight is around 45 lbs.
