Approximate Age: 4-5 years
Approximate Weight: 40 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400

DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Are you socially awkward around others? Not sure whether you wanna engage in the conversation? Well, that's me. I'm a very sweet guy with a super friendly nature around people, but I am not a doggie social butterfly. I don't really engage with other dogs to play, but hey, someone's gotta be the wallflower. I love the outdoors and I am an energetic and fun-loving guy. I'll play ball with you, and be your best buddy ever. I'm hoping to land in a loving forever home soon. I would prefer a home as a one and only doggie, but if you have a doggie that kinda minds his/her business, I'm okay with that too. I am not at all aggressive, just kinda shy/don't quite know how to "dog".

Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.

Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets.
