?Maxine "Max" is just shy of two years (birthday on Valentine's Day) and we presume to be a golden retriever/ german shepherd mix. She is as sweet, gentle, and as pure as can be and always has to have her people in sight. Her favorite spot is the kitchen while her foster mom cooks. She was an owner surrender and is still trying to figure things out, like why her owners gave her up, but she has been a joy to be around. She has huge paws and although she is a big girl, thinks she is a lap dog and sometimes doesn't realize her size. She is happiest on the couch with you and freaks out when she sees a leash as she loves walkies more than anything. She deserves a big yard as she is quite the athlete and she would absolutely love a brother or sister as "play" is her middle name. She is potty trained as long as you take her out enough and sleeps through the night no problem. She is the perfect dog to enter 2021 with—most definitely a good luck charm. Give Miss Maxine a chance.
