Max & Sonya Pit Bull Terrier Mix Indianapolis, IN

Meet Max and Sonya! They are an adorable bonded pair. Both are only a year old and weigh about 45 pounds.

Max and Sonya were surrendered to a local city shelter where they spent time apart. Both of these babies were terrified. Staff figured out there were from the same home and put them together. While this did help, they were still so scared and eventually received a euthanasia date to end their lives.

Max and Sonya have thrived in their foster home! Max is the more playful of the two and loves to explore. Sonya is the cuddler and loves to lay on your lap. Max has a new found love for fetch and will play and play. Meanwhile, Sonya will follow you around, soaking up all the attention.

These two are inseparable. If Max is doing something, Sonya is doing it too. Sonya is definitely the leader of the two and can be much more outgoing that Max, although Max will do anything Sonya is. Both are friendly with other dogs and would do okay with kids who respect them.

They can be nervous at first but with some snacks and patience, they warm up quick. They are both very curious and brave.

They are both potty trained and crate trained. They can eat together, play with the same toy, or cuddle up next to you with no issues. They do sleep together as well.
