Meet Max

Meet Max! Max is estimated to be Australian Shepherd possibly crossed with English Shepherd. This beautiful 2023 edition came into rescue with his brother Chocolate (also on Petfinder) after being taken in by animal control for neglect living out on a tie out. Max is neutered, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Max and his brother are incredibly athletic and would probably be great agility dogs if tested and have great recall. Or just great jogging companions. Max has a sweet temperament and is learning to trust after living the beginning of his life outdoors tied up. Max is available for adoption!!

Because NWMNAR is not a public shelter, meet and greets do not take place until an application has been approved and a home visit has been completed in person or virtually. Meet and greets will take place in a public setting along with the adoption if compatible. Dogs can be met in Ada, MN or in our alternate office location in Maple Grove, Mn.
