Hello there, I'm Maverick! I'm a big softie who loves nothing more than to snuggle up with my favorite humans. I've mastered most of the basic commands. I'm not just smart, I'm also super friendly. I love meeting new people, especially kids. They're always so much fun to play with! And other dogs? They're my best friends! We run and play, and at the end of the day when I'm worn out, I'm always ready for a good cuddle. I'm looking for a forever home where I can share all this love and affection. If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there.

Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day!

*Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.*

**All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
