Matilda Labrador Retriever Mix Houston, TX

G’day! I am Tilly short for Matilda. I am such a sweet, loving dog!

I am a six year old Retriever mix. I was hanging out a train stop for several months. A train driver was watching out for me. Timing worked and he rescued me on Christmas Eve! I was wet and cold from the night before and happily went in the car with my rescuers. They took me home and I had a nice bath and meal. Then I had the best Christmas Ever! I even got presents from Santa! The family that took me in is now fostering me. I love their two dogs and even get along with their cat. I am house trained and roam freely while they are gone. I have been very good in the house. I do enjoy snuggles on the lounge! I walk well on the leash with my foster siblings. On our walks we even stop for puppaccinos at the local coffee shop! I do get a little excited sometimes but I am easily corrected. I enjoy my foster family but I am looking for a forever home.
I am fully vaccinated and spayed. I am currently undergoing heartworm treatment, but don't let that worry you. Its fast and easy, and Animal Justice League pays for the cost! If you live in the Houston area, I'd love to meet you. The first step is filling out an application!
