Meet Marney!

This gem of a southern bell is looking for her furever home. She’s been in rescue for a very long time and truly deserves a family of her own. She is an 8 year old Airedale mix. She currently weighs about 85 pounds, so she is a large sized dog! Marney has a bit of a sad story, she was owned by a severe hoarder and unfortunately due to her not wanting to give the dogs up it turned into a long court case. Luckily, all dogs were eventually turned over as they were being neglected in their previous home. Marney is now considered a senior and really just wants a family to call her own. A family that’ll love her unconditionally because she has SO much love to give back to her people.

Marney is a fantastic dog. She’s house trained and incredibly loyal. She is smart and just aims to please. She’s a complete people’s dog and truly just thrives with lots of attention. This girl hasn’t had all the attention before and she deserves it! She’s in a foster home currently with lots of different dogs of all sizes and she does great with them all. She has no problem sharing her food or getting treats with the other dogs. She sometimes can get a little jealous of other dogs getting attention though. She just loves so deeply and strongly she tries to get all of the attention that she can! In a multi person home with multiple sets of hands to share the love we think she would do fine! She would also be completely fine as your one and only queen!

Marney is spayed and caught up to date with vaccines. She will also get her health certificate prior to adoption. She’s very ready to be your relaxing and devoted companion. She enjoys car rides too if that’s something you frequently do! She’s not a high energy gal and doesn’t require a lot. Love, comfy bed or couch and food is the key to this pups heart.
