It was a chilly morning when Marley was found tied to the gate with a frayed piece of rope, her eyes filled with confusion and fear. As Marley sat huddled against the cold metal, her heart heavy with abandonment, she couldn't help but wonder what she had done wrong. Was she not good enough? Did she not deserve love and companionship like every other dog?

Sadly, we will never know the circumstances for why Marley was abandoned the way she was. What we do know is that she was beloved to someone out there recently. The confusion she displays in her current situation proves to us that she is used to a more comfortable and happy lifestyle. She spends her days in our cat laundry room and is quick with a boisterous greeting for anyone who comes in. She absolutely loves affection from people and will just melt in your lap.

Marley dreams of a life filled with warmth and love, where she can run and feel the sun on her fur. Despite the pain of being abandoned, Marley has hope in her heart that there is someone who will see her for the loyal companion, faithful friend, and gentle soul she is and provide her with the love she deserves.
