Marcie Chihuahua & Pomeranian Mix Lacona, NY

Marcie is a bouncy, happy pup. She loves to play, eat then play some more.

After many applicants had changes of heart prior to their meet and greets, we still have 4 of our Pom Chis looking for foster to adopt or adoptive homes!!

Our "Peanuts Litter" are Chihuahua mixes, 1 boy and 3 girls left that are turning 13 weeks old now! Momma was a 15ish# white Chihuahua that the owners kept and we are wondering if dad may be a Pomeranian due to some of the pups being a bit fluffy, having small pointy ears and curly tails. We believe the pups will be 15-20# full grown and all are super sweet, very bouncy and resemble little polar bear cubs. Due to their breed mix, they will likely be more playful, active pups rather total lap dogs so homes with small, active pets would likely be a great match for them! Due to their small size, however, we are looking for homes with small-medium sized dogs since the pups are underfoot.

Due to their current age, size and energy levels, adoption requirements are:

•Living within 500 miles of Adams, NY
•Having previous/current pets in annually at a local veterinary office and up to date on vaccines as well as spay/neutered.
•Since they are puppies, they should be ok with both cats and Small -Medium sized dogs in the home.
•Due to their current size and disposition, we are looking for homes with children over 10 years old.
•Willing to have current dogs/family members come to a meet and greet to meet the pet and be sure an acceptable match.
•Having time available to care for, socialize and start training of a new pet.
Preference will be given to homes with previous dog experience.

An adoption donation of $475 is being asked to cover a portion of their veterinary and care fees. They have had their exam, 3 puppy shots as well as their rabies vaccine, been started on flea, tick and heartworm preventative and they have been spay/neutered!

Adoptions limited to an 80 mile radius of Pulaski, NY and pets must be viewed in person by all family members prior to adoption; animals will not be shipped to their new homes.
