Meet Maneet
Update: Meet Maneet! Now that she has settled in and gained weight, she has
demonstrated her winning personality. She is friendly but not pushy. Maneet has mastered sit, high five (left and right) down and almost always comes when called. Her favorite activity is playing ball. She will bring the ball to you and drop it right in your lap then wait, without becoming frantic, for the
next throw. She can catch a ball or toy; she takes treats gently. Maneet may need to be an only dog, but that just means she can have all of her new person's attention and love. “Companionable” describes her well.
Maneet is a 4 year old female Lab mix that was picked up as a stray by the Dog Warden. She is very sweet to people but may be a little defensive around other dogs. She loves her sister Marita and is protective of her which can come from being on their own. Maneet is slowly putting on weight and was only 40 lbs, when she came to us. She will look much healthier at 48 to 50 lbs.
