Maeve Husky & Shepherd Mix Edwards, IL

Maeve is a 1.5-2 year old husky/shepherd mix with big antenna ears that are soft as can be, and a goofy toothy grin. She is kennel trained and enjoys her ‘den’ when it’s time to go to sleep. Maeve is potty trained - we are also trying to train her to ring bells when she needs let out. She knows the sit, ‘go to kennel’, and responds to her name (recalls) fairly well. Maeve is a bit independent but don’t let that fool you - she is a cuddle monster. At first she may seem a bit picky with food but given time she will eat her meals and be more treat motivated. Maeve is good with other dogs and enjoys going to the doggy park. She also likes to play wrestle with her foster brother (cat) and sister (dog). Maeve still has a bit of puppy energy in her and will need her forever family to commit to professional training, as she is still learning some of the basic commands and tends to jump for attention. Because of this, she would do best in a home without small children and with a tall fully fenced yard. She is a gorgeous girl and melts hearts with her sweet kisses and full body wiggles. Our adoption fee is $260 for dogs over 5 months of age and includes all vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro chip implantation and registration/transfer, heartworm test and much more. Puppies up to 5 months of age are $275 and this includes all sets of puppy vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip implantation and registration and more.
